Bahram Afshari unveils debut

Bahram Afshari, actor in Iranian New-Year hit TV series ‘The Capital’, has unveiled his debut through VoD streaming services.

Afshari will be visiting his fans in domestic market of home entertainment with his debut ‘Hedgehog’ which is a comedy show both written and directed by him.

‘Hedgehog’, which is a solo performance in the form of a theater, is narrated by Afshari and tells the story of a young man who aspires to an Oscar and has made many efforts to enter the field of cinema.

‘The Hedgehog’ is a production different from what Afshari is usually known by and marks the actor's first experience in filmmaking.

The play was first staged in 2015 amid warm welcomes followed by many other performances in 2016 and 2018. Now, some time after the last performance, due to the closure of theaters, Afshari has decided to publish the film of this play for the fans.

The new comedy show will hit VoD platforms as of April 23.
